We only take you to the best places, to do the best activities!

How many people will be on my trip?Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips you’ll be part of an intimate group of 15-20 people, though our group sizes can vary.
-
Are there age restrictions on your trips? We do note that majority of our guests are between their mid 20s to 40. We feel that this demographic allows the best cohesion between the groups as we will be active and exploring, eating at nicer restaurants and socialising in the evenings. If you fall outside this group please feel free to contact us and discuss further.
-
I’m travelling alone! Is that OK?This is the beauty of the Indy Escapes style of travel: Many of our travellers join because they are travelling solo, can’t find a friend that will join them and want to meet and share new experiences with like-minded people. We will be ticking off a number of bucket list items together as well as sipping on cocktails most evening so it is a great environment to make new friends and share a laugh! We have a saying ‘come as strangers, leave as friends’
-
If I am travelling solo, will I be charged a single supplement?"As a solo traveller, you will be paired up with another passenger of the same gender as per your passport information. Do I need Travel Insurance?Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory on all Indy Escapes trips. This should be taken out at the time of booking. You can also purchase travel insurance with us through our partner World Nomads. We recommend getting a comprehensive travel insurance policy which covers you for all medical expenses (including repatriation) and any expensive items you bring away with you such as laptops, tablets, smart phones and cameras. Check the policy wording and excess limits before you book and make sure they are to your satisfaction. Travel insurance should be taken out at the time of booking in case of unforeseen events which may lead you to cancel your trip. For more information, please visit the Travel Insurance page of this website, where you can find more tips about what to look for in a policy and search for a policy from World Nomads. Travel insurance is particularly important in North America, where uninsured travellers can be left facing huge medical bills should they require treatment. Double check that the policy you choose covers you for travel in the USA or Canada.

Is tipping commonplace in the Maldives? At the end of your trip, if you're happy with the service you received, providing a tip for the staff - though not compulsory - is appropriate.
