How many people will be on my trip?Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips you’ll be part of an intimate group of 15-20 people, though our group sizes can vary.

I’m travelling alone – is that OK?Absolutely! Travelling alone with Indy Escapes is not only okay but welcomed. Many of Indy Escapes' trips are designed to cater to solo travellers, offering an opportunity to explore, connect with like-minded individuals, and create memorable experiences. Whether you're an independent adventurer looking for a solo journey or seeking to join a group of fellow solo travellers, Indy Escapes provides a platform for individuals to embark on exciting adventures independently or as part of a vibrant community.

If I am travelling solo, will I be charged a single supplement?As a solo traveller, you will be paired up with another passenger of the same gender as per your passport information. If you’re not comfortable sharing a room with someone of the same gender, you also have the option to pay for a single supplement.

Will someone take photos and videos of us?Yes, we realise the importance of capturing these once in a life time experiences and depending on the trip, our staff are equipped with SLR, Drone, GoPro & Underwater cameras to capture every single moment, so there is no need to worry about missing that perfect shot! The photos are distributed free of charge by our group leader during our trip!

Do I get any free time?The beauty of travelling with Indy Escapes is that we encourage travellers to explore at their own pace. When you arrive at a destination, your leader will offer options on what you can do. Some of the group will do an activity, while others may just choose to lie in a hammock and read a book. The week is designed to be a balance of socialising, exploring and relaxing.

How can I make Payment?Deposit: To secure your spot, we require a $300 USD non refundable deposit. Payment Plan: Flexible Weekly or Monthly fixed payments over a period of time. Full Payment: The total amount paid upfront so you don’t have to worry later! We accept Credit & Debit Card, Bank Transfer, PayPal & WISE.

Where do we stay?We have endeavoured to select hotels that enhance your travel experience, either through a central location which are of a high level of standard, service and amenities available. There are photos of the accomodation available on each trip page.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible when you come home from a day at the beach. In the Maldives, Croatia, Turkey and Bali, all rooms have air conditioning. On our Africa Safaris, we stay in glamping tents (with ensuites) and in cooler climates so air conditioning is not required.

What is the most appropriate type of luggage to bring?What ever you feel most comfortable; a suitcase, duffel bag or backpack. Keep in mind that staff will coordinate movement of your luggage throughout the trip so you will not have to worry about carrying it around.

Are your trips guaranteed to depart?All of our group adventures are guaranteed to depart. That means that once you book your trip it’s confirmed to run, regardless of how many other travellers have booked. We are yet to run a trip that has not been completely full, so we can guaranteed that you will never be flying solo.
