Day 2: STONE TOWN & NUNGWI

This morning, we depart for the idyllic beach town of Nungwi, but first, we will take a walking tour around Stone Town and dive into a poignant chapter of Zanzibar’s history, hearing about the Portuguese, Arabs, and the Slave Trade Market that once inhabited the island. This deeply moving experience will offer you a sobering glimpse into the island's past as a central hub in the Indian Ocean slave trade. The visit is both educational and emotional, providing a deeper understanding of Zanzibar's complex history and the resilience of its people. After this enriching morning, we’ll make our way to Nungwi, where you can unwind on the soft sands and take a refreshing dip in the ocean. Day 3: DOLPHINS & SEA TURTLES

Start your day early with a refreshing breakfast at a beachfront café, soaking in the stunning views of the turquoise waters. Afterward, head to a nearby dock for an unforgettable swimming experience with playful dolphins in their natural habitat. Glide through the water and enjoy the thrill of these intelligent creatures swimming alongside you. By the time we reach Paje, you’ll be ready to relax and soak up the laid-back beach vibes. Spend the afternoon at leisure, lounging on the soft sands, taking a dip in the crystal-clear waters, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It’s the perfect balance of history, nature, and relaxation.

In Paje, the evenings are vibrant and full of possibilities. Start by enjoying a leisurely dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants, where you can savour fresh seafood and local Zanzibari dishes while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Day 5: EXPLORE LOCAL CAVES

Our first full day in Paje offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration and relaxation. We’ll start by visiting the Maalum Caves, a sacred Swahili cave with a natural spring steeped in local legend. As you explore this mystical site, you’ll learn about its significance to the local communities and perhaps even take a refreshing dip in its clear, cool waters. Afterwards, we’ll continue our cultural journey with a visit to the nearby Kuza Cave, where you can delve deeper into the island’s rich history and traditions through an optional cooking class and drum lesson.

The afternoon is dedicated to pure relaxation. We'll start the day with a super chilled morning, whether you choose to chill on the beach, get a massage, dive into thrilling water sports like kite surfing or snorkelling, or simply sip a cold drink while basking in the sun, the choice is yours. In the afternoon we will meet up for our final dinner together at the most famous place to eat on the island, the Rock Restaurant!

As night falls, we'll come together for an exciting night out in Paje. Experience the vibrant nightlife as we visit local bars and beach clubs, dancing under the stars and enjoying the lively atmosphere. It's a day that perfectly blends excitement with relaxation, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Day 7: DEPARTURE DAY

As your Zanzibar adventure comes to an end, it's time to say goodbye to the beautiful beaches of Paje and the friends you've made along the way.
