ITINERARY
Day 1: BOL
After meeting your Indy crew, we depart from Split harbour at midday and head towards the island of Brač, where we visit the seaside town of Bol and start your Croatia Sailing tour!
We'll cruise along the Dalmatian coast while enjoying your first of many delicious lunches with your new friends, prepared by our amazing onboard chef. Then, it's time to dip into the Adriatic for your first of many unforgettable swim stops.
We'll dock in the afternoon, giving you enough time to explore the local markets on your way to the famous Zlatni Rat (the Golden Horn) beach. This beach amazingly changes shape each day depending on the tide and strength of the current, as it is on one of the windiest peninsulas along the coast. Chill on the beach and watch the windsurfers show off their high-flying skills!
Day 2: HVAR
A mid-morning departure sails us back past the famous Golden Horn, where we stop for a refreshing swim before lunch. We then head to one of Croatia's most popular islands, Hvar, the most upbeat island in the Adriatic.
You'll have the afternoon to take in some of Hvar's highlights, such as the hilltop fortress with postcard views of the surrounding islands and the town's old square. Here, you can enjoy our wine-tasting excursion with views of the 16th-century cathedral and bell tower.
Finish the night indulging in some of Europe's best nightlife entertainment. Experience the famous Carpe Diem club, set on its very own island!
Day 3: MLJET NATIONAL PARK
We depart in the morning towards Mljet Island, stopping on the Pelješac peninsula for a refreshing swim. In the afternoon, we visit the salt lakes in Mljet National Park to enjoy this peaceful island's sun, sea, and tranquillity.
Here, you can rent a bike and ride to the southernmost part of the lake, where it meets the ocean. It's a sight not to be missed!
In the middle of the large lake, inside the National Park, we visit the monastery and church on St. Mary Isle. Overnight, we dock in the port of Polača/Pomena.
Day 4: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, we set sail for Dubrovnik, always the highlight of the week. Enjoy the nature along the way to "King's Landing" (Game of Thrones fans get excited!). We will arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon, giving you the chance to explore on your own or join our guided city tour.
Take a ride on the cable car up to Srđ mountain for spectacular views of the Old Town, walk the famous city walls, or enjoy an afternoon cider at the 'hole in the wall' bar and watch the local cliff divers wow you with their fearless leaps into the Adriatic.
Enjoy delicious seafood in the local restaurants and get ready for a night out on the town, visiting local bars and one of the best clubs in Europe. A night you won't forget!
Day 5: KORCULA
We wave goodbye to Dubrovnik and depart for Korčula, the birthplace of famous explorer Marco Polo. Enjoy lunch onboard in the Lumbarda Bay near Korčula. With a late afternoon arrival at the port, there is plenty of time to swim this afternoon.
Once docked, you'll get an orientation of the Old Town, where you can find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Listen to the story of the stone walls built over two centuries ago. Meet the group for dinner and sunset cocktails in a 16th-century fort tower overlooking the sea. Stunning!
Day 6: MAKARSKA
After enjoying the beauty of the Islands, we make our way back to the mainland. After lunch, we will start our journey to the seaside town of Makarska, the lively hot spot of the Makarska Riviera.
Those craving some thrills will get their chance today as you can join our optional river rafting excursion on the Cetina River, then zip line over it from one side of the mountain to the other.
For those wanting more relaxation time, you can stroll through the old town, take in the local sites, visit the local markets on the boardwalk, or head down to the beach. No matter what you choose, you will be able to enjoy it while admiring the impressive Biokovo mountain range in the background. This small town has something for everyone!
Tonight, you have the chance to taste some local dishes and experience the fun nightlife this town has to offer. Cave Bar, anyone?
Day 7: SPLIT
We take it easy on our last sailing day, ensuring you can take one last jump off the boat and get that perfect shot to make all your friends at home jealous of your week-long adventures here in Croatia.
After lunch, we will start our journey back to Split, where the last overnight stay is planned. Enjoy the views of the Split Riviera as we come into port for the final time. Once we dock, join your Indy Escapes Rep for a walk through the monumental city under UNESCO protection, which belongs not only to Croatians but also to you, as it is part of the World Heritage List. Discover an abundance of Roman architecture—of particular interest is the Diocletian palace.
Meet up for a final dinner with your new friends, reflecting on what may have been the best week of your life sailing around Croatia! Can it get any better?
Day 8: DEPARTURE DAY
After breakfast the following day, the Indy Escapes crew bids you farewell as you continue your adventures through Europe from the port of Split.
What are you waiting for? It's time to get on board.
