Lucas, the creative force behind Indy Escapes, turned his solo travel frustrations into an exciting opportunity for adventure-seekers who often fly solo. Tired of missing out on epic trips because friends were too busy with work or relationships, or had no time off, Lucas decided to flip the script. Indy Escapes was born from his love of exploration and the desire to connect like-minded travellers. It’s about meaningful connections, authentic experiences, and crafting unforgettable stories.
After travelling to over 130 different countries and with countless solo adventures under his belt, Lucas knows a thing or two about making the most out of every journey. His approach to travel is all about striking the perfect balance between thrilling discoveries, meaningful social connections, and well-deserved relaxation. Through Indy Escapes, Lucas is on a mission to unite a community of adventurers who refuse to let life’s commitments hold them back, offering them the chance to explore the world on their own terms while forging new friendships along the way.

Our small group adventure tours are designed for solo travellers and couples who want to explore incredible destinations, meet like minded people and enjoy a sociable group experience without the backpacker party scene.
Expect a carefully planned mix of culture, nature, wildlife, local experiences, relaxed evenings and the occasional cocktail. You will travel with a friendly group of around 12 to 14 people, giving you the chance to make genuine connections while still having time to explore at your own pace.
