Day 1: ARRIVAL
​
We commence our Bali experience after meeting your Indy Escapes crew at the resort, you will have time to check in and get settled before we meet up for our group introduction and orientation.
​​
​This evening sets the tone for the week ahead, as you forge connections with your new Indy family. Tonight we'll enjoy an included terrace dinner together as we watch the sunset and settle in to the local island vibe.
Day 2: UBUD
​
​
There is too much to do in Bali so today we are up bright an early for a nice big breakfast before with your new Indy Fam! We have an exciting day planned beginning with a visit to Pura Tirta Empul Temple, followed by a spacial visit to our friends at Cahaya Mutiara for lunch, then moving onto the world famous Tagallalang Rice Terraces for some spectualar hiking and photo opportunities, along with a chance to jump on a Bali Swing.

We will then make our way to a local waterfall and hike up to an amazing river club where we will be able to cool off and enjoy a few cocktails in the infinity pool. We will spend the rest of the afternoon here before making our way back to the resort in the evening.

Day 3: UBUD
​
We have another exiting day planned as you immerse yourself in Bali's natural beauty by exploring a hidden gem nestled in the lush jungles of Ubud, the Kanto Lampo Waterfall. The inviting cascades and pools at the base of the waterfall allows adventurous souls to take a refreshing dip and get some breathtaking photos. From here we have an optional adventure, Quad biking through the stunning landscapes of Bali's cultural heart. Quad biking in Ubud is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders, with professional guides leading the way and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
We have a super chilled, relaxing afternoon ahead, which allows time for a leisurely lunch and siesta, rest up for the evening's excitement at Mt Batur. The anticipation builds for a night trek and a spectacular sunrise of the island, promising both adventure and breathtaking views. .

Day 4: MT BATUR​
​​
Embarking on a Mt Batur sunrise hike is a must-do experience for those seeking breathtaking views and a sense of adventure in Bali. Mt Batur is an active volcano that stands at approximately 1,717 meters above sea level. For those adventurers joining the trip, the journey begins in the early morning hours to ensure hikers reach the summit in time for sunrise. The Mt Batur sunrise hike is a moderate trek suitable for various fitness levels, and it led by experienced local and international guides.
After returning from the hike, we have super easy day ahead and some time ti wind down. We found that the perfect way to do this is by either a massage or engage your senses in a sound bowl mediation. In the evening we also have another cultural immersion activity: A hands-on Balinese cooking class and we will finish the evening by eating what we cook! This day not only embraces the natural beauty of Bali but also delves into its cultural soul, creating a harmonious blend of adventure and relaxation.

Day 5: NUSA PENIDA​
​​
After an exciting few days, we bid farewell to Ubud and embark on a tranquil transit day to Nusa Penida. The boat journey from Sanur adds a touch of oceanic adventure, preparing you for the serene atmosphere of the island. You will have incredible views of Bali's mountainous backdrop en route to our 'holiday within a holiday'. We will settle into our new boutique accommodations, allowing the evening for leisure and exploration, a perfect transition from the cultural heart of Bali to the peaceful shores of Nusa Penida.

Compared to Bali, Nusa Penida maintains a more laid-back and secluded ambiance. The island's quieter beaches and less crowded attractions make it an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and a closer connection to nature. Overall, Nusa Penida offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, marine adventures, cultural experiences, and a peaceful escape from the bustling tourist hubs, making it a destination that captures the hearts of those who venture to explore its wonders.

Day 6: NUSA PENIDA
​
Discover the underwater wonders of Nusa Penida with a scuba diving or snorkeling trip around the island. This not only allows us to see the incredible marine life, but allows another perspective of this island paradise. The day trip sets the stage for a mesmerising encounter with Manta Rays, creating memories that linger beneath the surface and then some more snorkelling stop at to see some of Bali's most vibrant reefs. Today is a celebration of the island's marine beauty, offering both thrill and tranquility against the backdrop of Nusa Penida's coastal allure.
​Whether you're a novice snorkeler or an experienced diver, the waters surrounding Bali provide a kaleidoscope of marine wonders, ensuring that each stop is an opportunity to uncover the beauty of the ocean and create lasting underwater memories.
Day 7: NUSA PENIDA

After breakfast we head towards Sanur to emark on our boat journy to the incredible island of Nusa Penida. Once we arrive on the island we will head straight for the ever popular insta spot Diamond Beach for some incredible photo opportunities, then hike down to the beach below for an afternoon dip and chill! After our little adventure we will make our way to "Kelingking Beach" for another mind blowing photo oppotunity and hike before starting to head back toward our lodge in the evening.

Tonight we will head into the heart of town for dinner before checking out the beach for some evening fun! Today encapsulates the essence of Nusa Penida – a perfect mix of island marvels and evening bliss, creating a grand finale to your Bali adventure.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
​
Departure day marks the conclusion of your unforgettable journey through Bali. As the sun rises, there's a bittersweet air, a mix of gratitude for the memories made and the anticipation of returning home. The morning unfolds with a leisurely breakfast, allowing time for reflection and perhaps a final stroll through the surroundings that have become familiar over the course of your stay.

Departure day in Bali is not just a farewell; it's a continuation of the experiences, lessons, and connections that will stay with you long after you leave the Island of the Gods.
